Season’s greetings with all good wishes for the New Year
To: All Kendo Sensei and dojo members in Ontario:
Recently we contacted you regarding our upcoming special New Year’s Godo Geiko to be held on January 3rd.
As part of this event, we will be having a special lecture by S. Uyenaka Sensei, Professor of Japanese History at the University of Toronto(retired). He will be talking on the subject of BUDO and BUSHIDO. From this lecture, members can get a deeper understanding into the background and philosophy of Kendo. It will be a very informative lecture and beneficial for all those who attend. The lecture will start at 2:30 and roughly last 15~20 minutes. After the lecture , we will have our godo geiko.
We encourage all Kendo Ontario Members to come out to this special event. We would especially like to thank Uyenaka Sensei for making it special. We will look forward to seeing you there.
