Dear Dojo Administrators,
Happy New Year! and all the best for 2014.
Just a couple of things regarding recent changes introduced on the system. As you will see on the documentation posted on the CKF main site, mandatory waiting times in between ranks it is now being enforced.
You will see that the list of members of your Dojo has changed and now it will display information about each member and whether or not the member is eligible for grading. The system, at this point, won’t block you from authorizing that member for grading however, if the member tries to apply, the system will block his/her application.
Also, not seen on the posted documentation, is the fact that now the system can be audited and we will be able to trace information about who gets authorized and by whom.
These changes have been a necessary step to ensure 100% transparency on the system and also to ensure we comply with International Kendo Federation rules.
I appreciate your help and understanding of this important matter.
Finally, this is the time to clean up your Dojo’s member list and remove those whom either no longer practice and/or don’t belong to your Dojo.
